Set Type 3 - Universal Set

What is Universal Set?
-   Universal is a set which consist all element under consideration.  

Question:
-   There are several types of fruits in:
·         Set A {Grape, Apple, Blueberry, Kiwi, Peach }
·         Set B {Orange, Rambutan, Dragon Fruit, Blueberry, Kiwi}
·         Other {Coconut}
How to solve them into Universal set and illustrate them in Venn diagram?

Answer:
-     In this case, there are 2 Sets: “A” and “B” where different types of fruits are categorized excluding Coconut. Thus, the Coconut is placed outside of both sets. However, in Universal set, all elements on the types of fruits must be considered. Universal set also has a special symbol of .

-     So we will list all the above fruits to form a Universal Set as follows:

We can draw the Venn diagram for fruits in Set “A”, Set “B” and also the Coconut fruit which lied outside from both sets. This Venn diagram shows a universal set for the different types of fruits which can be drawn as follows:
