Set Type 2 - Intersection Set



What is Intersection Set?
-   Intersection is a set that have a same objects or element, which are in set A and Set B.

Question:
-   You have best friend called David. He has different and also the same hobbies like you:
·         You    {Reading, Drawing, Singing, Play Games}
·         David {Reading, Play Games, Write a Journal, Play a Guitar }
How to solve them into Intersection set and illustrate them in Venn diagram?

Answer:
-   For this question, there are 2 Sets: “You” and “David”. In order to create an intersection set, there object or element must be the same or similar, so we need to highlight the same hobbies for “You” and “David”.

-   This is called as Intersection Set and has the special symbol .
-   So, the Intersection Set will be:



-   We can draw the Venn diagram for the similar hobbies into “You” and “David”. The Venn diagram is drawn as follows:


This Venn diagram shows an intersection between set of “You” and “David”. It covered the same hobbies arranged between both sets of “You” and “David” to become a set called as Intersection Set.
