Measure of Tendency 3 - Mode



What is Mode?
-   Mode is the repeated number or values that occur most often in a distribution. It is used to find out which height, mass, age and amount occur most frequently.
-   Mode is represented as the highest bar in a bar chart or histogram.
-   A frequency distribution may have more than one mode.

Sample Question:
-   Find the mode of the following sets of scores:
           a)      2, 4, 6, 8, 8, 8
           b)      1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 5

Answer:
          a)      Mode 8
          b)      Mode 2
